Teach the Living, Honor the Dying

What makes Until Death Doulas different?

At Until Death Doulas, I approach end-of-life planning as a lifelong process, not just something to consider in the final chapter. My work begins early—with support for routine surgeries or illnesses—and evolves alongside you, offering continuity of care and a trusted presence throughout life's transitions.

Instead of focusing solely on the final days, I emphasize Legacy Planning and Care Circle creation to help you build intentional community and support networks that can walk with you long before and after death. Conversations and planning help reduce isolation, clarify wishes, and foster peace of mind for everyone involved.

I also co-create end-of-life celebrations that reflect your values, identity, and legacy. Whether your celebration is a quiet gathering or an extravagant send-off, each ceremony is as unique as the individual it honors.

With a deep respect for autonomy, compassion, and inclusivity, I offer grounded, heart-led support for adults aged 18 and up—because every life deserves to be witnessed, and every death can be meaningful.

Values

Celebrate the Weird, the Wild, the Wonderful

Humor and celebration have a sacred place, even (and especially) at the end of life.

I create space for the quirks and surprises that made you. I'm not afraid to break the mold. If you want a dance party, karaoke, or a glittery urn—I'll help make it happen.

Heart First

Authenticity means leading with empathy, not just professionalism.

I hold space for honest conversations, whether about fear, joy, regrets or what comes next. You are welcome exactly as you are, no masks required.

Equity in End-of-Life Access

Compassionate, informed death support should be accessible to everyone. Because dignity is universal, and grief knows no bounds.

I provide affirming, respectful care for all identities, bodies, families, and belief systems because everyone deserves to be seen in life and death.

Circle of Life

Death is part of life’s natural cycle.

I advocate for eco-friendly options that honor the earth as we honor each life. I help you find solutions to honor your wishes and reflect that philosophy, from green burials to biodegradable keepsakes.

Demystify, Not Dramatize

Replace silence and stigma with facts, options, and clarity.

Death doesn't need to be scary, it needs to be seen. I blend compassionate presence with real, usable knowledge—bridging the emotional with the logistical.

Care Circle Planning

Your support system, thoughtfully designed.

Through a series of personalized sessions, I’ll guide you in building your Care Circle - a trusted group of people who can support you through illness, recovery, life transitions, or end-of-life planning. Together, we’ll identify your needs, clarify roles, and create a plan for how your community can show up meaningfully and sustainably. Whether planning ahead or navigating a current challenge, Care Circle Planning ensures you’re not doing it alone.

Legacy Projects

Custom keepsakes that honor your life and values.

Legacy Projects begin with a personalized consultation to uncover what feels most meaningful to you. Together, we'll explore creative ways to share your story - whether through letters, videos, artwork, audio messages, recipes, memory books, or something unique. These one-of-a-kind projects are designed to reflect your identity, preserve your voice, and offer something lasting for the people you love.

Celebrations

Meaningful moments, created with intention.

Rituals and events are most powerful when they feel real, not rehearsed. I work with individuals, families, and communities to co-create celebrations that honor identity, legacy, and connection. Whether you're planning a living memorial, end-of-life celebration, intimate farewell, or personal ritual, we'll shape an authentic experience - not bound by tradition but grounded in truth. No forced speeches. No empty gestures. Just real moments, held with care.
